Animal Sports

Some sports depend on animals more than on people these type of sports called animal sports.Like pigeon racing, sled dog racing, polo, horse racing. The participation of the animals in sports may involve people and a specific form of working animals. Many animals, are tranied for the performing in the sports activities. Many organisations all over the world tries to prevent the use of animals cruely in the sports. There are differnt kinds for animal sporting events, some are solwly between the animals while others use the animals in a lesser role.

Types of Animal Sporting Events
Racing :
Racing is the ppopular form of animal-related sport like horse racing. In some racing events humans ride the animals while others see the animals race alone. In some sports the rider is not directly riding the animal, instead being pulled along. Examples of this include dogsled racing and popular ancient Greek and Roman sport of chariot racing.

Fighting
In many countries the act of two or more animals fight with each other, such as cock fighting although it is illegal.There are some fights which are legal like cow fighting camel wrestling.

Hunting
Animals are also used for hunting purposes as a impotant source of food. Fishing is somewhat different to other hunting and is most commonly a pastime or hobby. However, it can also be a competitive sport. Fox hunting has been a controversial issue, particularly in the United Kingdom, regarding the its necessity and the cruelty involved. Pigeon shooting was one of the shooting events of the 1900 Summer Olympics.

One-on-one and team events
There are some non racing events are there in which animals are being used like Polo is one of the most poular example, Polo is a team sport played outdoor on horseback in which the objective is to score goals against an opposing team.
